Courtney Sierra
Courtney Sierra is an accomplished and purpose-driven leader with nearly a decade of experience in banking, regulatory strategy, and equity advocacy. She currently serves as Vice President, Workplace Community & Engagement Strategist at WesBanco Bank. Her journey began in policy management, and over the years, she has played a pivotal role in shaping the bank’s internal culture, regulatory processes, and community-focused initiatives.
Courtney is a recognized changemaker who co-founded WesBanco’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Council and now serves as Chair of the Inclusive Leadership Team. Under her leadership, the bank launched four Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), driving greater inclusion, belonging, and representation throughout the organization.
She holds a DEI Certificate from Cornell University and a Foundational Compliance Certificate from the American Bankers Association. She is a proud member of Junior League and serves on the Board of Directors for Crittenton Services. Courtney’s achievements have earned her recognition as a 2024 Generation Next 40 Under 40 honoree and recipient of WesBanco’s prestigious President’s Pick award.
Most recently, she spearheaded the development and launch of the bank’s inaugural Commercial Banking Internship Program—an 8-week immersive experience designed to foster diverse talent and open new career pathways.
