Tony Viola
Tony Viola is a lifelong Northern Panhandle resident, real estate professional, and dedicated community leader. A native of Follansbee, Tony graduated from Brooke High School and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Communications from West Liberty University.
As the Broker and Owner of Howard Hanna Mortimer Realty, Tony has guided the firm to become a leader in real estate across Hancock and Brooke Counties. His commitment to excellence has been recognized through membership in Howard Hanna’s Champion’s Club and Hanna 1 Club, and he has twice been named Realtor of the Year by readers of the Weirton Daily Times and Steubenville Herald-Star.
Beyond his career, Tony is deeply involved in community service. He serves on the boards of the Kiwanis Club of Wellsburg, Hancock and Brooke Young Professionals, the Brooke County Chamber of Commerce, and the United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley. He also supports initiatives addressing food insecurity and local development through his work with the Mountaineer Food Bank, Salvation Army, Toys for Tots, and the Weirton Brownfield RLF Task Force.
Tony is passionate about education and opportunity for local youth. He serves as Vice President of the Joan B. and Frank E. McDonald Scholarship Fund and has played a key role in revitalizing scholarships through the Weirton Board of Realtors, helping students pursue higher education.
A former award-winning sportswriter for Ogden Newspapers and Heisman Trophy voter, Tony transitioned to real estate in 2015, continuing the legacy built by his parents. Outside of his professional and nonprofit commitments, he enjoys boating and spending time with his girlfriend Jada, their children Adonis and Ivy, and their dog Moochie.
